Clear Mission
Reduce armed violence in regions where firearm tracking systems and resources are limited.
Develop and implement ArmsTracker – a digital record-keeping and monitoring system designed to strengthen firearm governance by addressing gaps in national weapons registration, tracking and law enforcement.
Complex Circumstances
Given Papua New Guinea’s social, political, and cultural landscape, the project required extensive research into local contexts, stakeholder behaviours, media trends and best NGO communication practices. These insights informed a culturally responsive strategy designed to maximise community trust and engagement.
Built for Context
I worked with a small, but passionate team, to create the “Goodbye” campaign proposal to support the uptake of the ArmsTracker device on a national scale.
